A friend recommended Trapizzino to me, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I was dining alone and waited for a table to open on the patio in the heart of Trastevere. It was well worth the wait. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of life, and sitting outside on a beautiful afternoon was one of my favorite experiences in Rome. The food was phenomenal. The photos look great, but they don’t come close to capturing the flavor. Every bite was packed with rich, authentic taste, and it’s easy to understand why this place has become such a Roman favorite. What made the experience truly memorable was the hospitality. I struck up a conversation with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We talked for a while, and when I asked about gelato, he recommended a local spot where he told me he takes his son on his days off. It turned out to be an excellent recommendation and exactly the kind of local experience I was hoping to find. Great food, genuine hospitality, and an unforgettable atmosphere in the heart of Trastevere. If you’re visiting Rome, don’t miss Trapizzino. It was one of the highlights of my trip, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Trapizzino was one of our favorite casual food spots in Rome. The food was amazing, with so many delicious trapizzini and great wine options to choose from. Everything felt authentic, flavorful, and perfect for a quick but satisfying meal. The staff were super attentive and friendly, and they even gave us a really cool shirt from the place, which made the experience even more memorable. Prices were very good for the quality, and the location in Trastevere is perfect. Such a great spot to grab a quick bite and some wine before heading out to the bars at night. The whole vibe was fun, relaxed, and very Roman. Would absolutely come back every time we visit Rome!

Soooo yummy! We had the trapizzino with creamy chicken/ basil and beef tongue/ meatballs and every one of them were amazing. Super soft and fluffy focaccia like bread with crunchy shell! The beef tongue basil one was really unique and fresh, meatball one was a classic.

I thought this will be an overhyped place, but the food quality and the delicious taste proves that it is reallyyy worth trying. The suppli funghi was incredible, hope that it could stay on the menu forever. The dough on the trapizzino is like something I never had before in a pizza. So flaky and delicious. The atmosphere is also so cozy and you feel the local vibe.

This place is INCREDIBLE. My friends and I discovered it at the start of our study abroad semester and now we come here every single week because we love it so much. The trapizzinos and suppli are always delicious, it’s probably the best suppli I’ve had in Rome. The rotating specials menu means there is always something new to try. Their house made lemonade is absolutely amazing, it’s definitely a must-try. Some other favorites are the chicken cacciatore trapizzino and the suppli classico. Their desserts are also really good, they have great gelato. And everything is delicious at a great price point. Our servers are also always so kind and friendly! I can’t recommend this place enough!
