We had a lunch of two persons. David Toutain is one of those restaurants where everything just works. The room is modern and elegant, and the service is calm and attentive. The food is the real highlight — creative, precise, and full of subtle surprises without ever feeling overdone. It’s a two Michelin star experience that feels well deserved. A meal you remember long after leaving. Definitely one of the must-try spots in Paris.
We had a four-course meal with wine pairing. It was wonderful! Almost every course was delicious each was paired with bread and contained several components. Highly recommended!
My husband and I came here for our honeymoon in Paris, as one of our more significant dinners. The courses were prepared in a way we haven’t seen before, which was incredibly unique and presentation wise - very memorable. The food was great. Every ingredient was well thought-out and fresh; as well as natural. Could not say enough great things about the food and experience. The staff was superb. So very kind and thorough. Everything felt very cool, and not pretentious. Excellent restaurant overall, highly recommend. The opportunity to sit next to the window to watch the kitchen and chefs prepare the food and work their magic was ‘chef’s kiss.’
I’ll be honest, I was hesitant on eating here during my time in Paris due to the reviews and what I’ve read online about the service. When eating at a two star Michelin restaurant, the experience isn’t just about the food, but also the hospitality / the service provided. Well, I’m very happy that my husband and I decided to come and see for ourselves! We had very friendly waiters who made us feel welcome and were striking up friendly conversation beyond the food. They were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Next, I have to mention that every course was a real treat. The presentation matched well with each dish. Everything we tasted was full of flavor and tasted very good. We also chose to do a wine pairing with our courses, which was probably one of the best wine pairings we’ve had! Each wine paired made so much sense, and even helped elevate some courses. Thankful for the experience I had here, grateful that it worked out and I took a chance despite what some of the reviews were saying. 😊

The service was absolutely outstanding! ☺️ The staff explained every course with great care and attention, ensuring that every aspect of the meal was perfect. The food was incredible - beautifully presented, creative, and full of unique flavors.
