We had a reservation in the parlor and had a really great time. The bar is quite busy and sort of unpleasant to get in simply from the crowd - even with a reservation you will wait. Once you’re sitting down and enjoying yourself it’s a comfortable, quiet atmosphere upstairs. The cocktails were excellent and we enjoyed everything - we’d get more next time but we didn’t quite have the time!

The food was great! We shared a number of items on the menu. We had the Chicken Pot Pie, chicken tenders, and the fish and chips. The food was definitely made fresh. The crust on the pot 🥧 was delicious! Compliments to the chef. The atmosphere was insane. Wall to wall people yet everyone made it work. Everyone was enjoying themselves despite being over capacity. Don't come here if you want a quiet evening.

Came for the live music, Irish coffee and Sunday Prime Rib Roast; was not disappointed. Was seated at the cozy table in the back, place was packed by then and service a bit slow. Also got some bangers & mash and soup. One of the medium roasts came out with too gristle, about 35%, the other 6 orders had a normal amount. The dinner portions are large, several ladies needed doggie bags. The live music was bit too loud, even though we were farthest away couldn't really talk when the band was performing.

The Dead Rabbit has become my favorite bar in NYC. The Parlor on the first floor is amazing. I went there for a few cocktails, and the bartenders’ knowledge, along with the vibe, is top-notch. Definitely my kind of experience. Really worth it.

Went there for a drink since I live in the neighborhood and had long noticed this NYC bar landmark. It was in December, which was perfect timing: the Christmas decorations were everywhere, from the ceiling to the drinks themselves, and really added to the experience. The cocktail selection was excellent: seasonal, creative, and high quality. Everything looked tempting. We did have to wait about 15 minutes outside because of the "after-work rush", but after around 7:30 pm there was no line anymore. We ended up in the main room, seated at the bar. The staff was friendly, the space was clean, and it wasn’t overly loud for an NYC bar. Overall, a very good experience. I’m not sure it’s THE place for a long night of drinking, but it’s definitely worth going for the atmosphere and the experience.
