Truly a wonderful dining experience deserving of the world ranking and Michelin stars. The beautiful seafood heavy tasting menu, most of which included savory broth to enhance taste and smell of the dishes. Each drink pairing featuring unique infusions from fruits I have never heard of. The non dairy dessert to accommodate lactose issues. Chef and sommelier entertained the diners with stories and anecdotes while prepared the meal. Found out one of my favorite spots in Ktown New Wonjo is a regular crew hangout.

I’m amazed by how far human civilization has evolved. Honestly better than all the three star Michelin restaurants I’ve been to. From the seating and tableware to the presentation, flavors, textures, drinks, and service, everything felt incredibly thoughtful and refined. My favorites were the first three appetizers, the sesame tofu, the sujebi, and the mugwort ice cream dessert. The progression of flavors was wonderful, and the drinks paired perfectly with the food, I especially loved the refreshing sour ones.

A modern, thoughtful interpretation of Korean cuisine, Atomix beautifully blends tradition with global influence. As the name suggests—“ato” meaning gift, and “mix” reflecting a fusion of cultures—every element feels intentional and inspired. The ambiance is exceptional: intimate, softly lit, and centered around just 14 counter seats, creating a truly immersive dining experience. Each course arrives with a beautifully illustrated card, telling the story behind the dish and its ingredients—an artistic touch that elevates the entire evening. My standout favorite was the kohlrabi with king crab and Kristal caviar: warm, slightly sweet, and luxuriously creamy, with the delicate brininess of the caviar melting seamlessly into the fresh, savory crab. Another highlight was the beakfish with green apple and sea grape—perfectly balanced, bright, and refreshing, leaving you wanting more. The lobster with a delicate foam sauce was equally memorable—refined and deeply satisfying. Dessert was a complete surprise. I typically gravitate toward savory flavors, but this was on another level. The passion fruit palate cleanser was one of the best I’ve ever had—vibrant and refreshing. It was followed by a bold combination of burdock ice cream, chocolate cake, and shaved black truffle. Unexpected, indulgent, and absolutely exquisite—even for someone who doesn’t usually enjoy chocolate. The entire 2.5-hour experience feels like a curated culinary art presentation. Every dish is not only beautifully plated but paired with a story, making it both personal and immersive. With only 14 seats at the chef’s counter, it’s no surprise that reservations are incredibly difficult to secure. A truly unforgettable experience from start to finish.

The layers, the luxury, a truly decadent experience. Reserved the bar seating with cocktail pairing and it did not disappoint. Every bite was a culinary masterpiece. Every sip elevated the flavors to a higher level I didnt know was possible. The staff was outstanding. The pride in their craft transcended into the meal. It was bold but not boastful, rich yet delicate, intimate theater and I was captivated every minute of every course.

Solid January menu, you definitely get full half to 2/3 way thru. Diverse seafood selection. Fave was the yellowtail. There’s a total of 14 spots at the chefs counter in a U shape, and service was on point. Cocktails were amazing. Truffle supplement on two courses for 135/pp was nice but tbh it didn’t really add much value. Would rec the 530 seating so you end at 8, otherwise 830 takes you super late.
