The Salty is a solid spot with great food and truly amazing coffee. One downside was that when we arrived, several items were already sold out, which limited our options. We did have a croissant and it was good, no complaints there. Overall, it’s a reliable place for a quick bite, especially if you go early and just want something tasty and well made
I visited The Salty Donut in Wynwood and overall had a good experience. The donuts are very good a definite highlight because the variety is unique, which makes it fun to try different flavors. The French toast sticks, they were really good. The breakfast potatoes had good flavor, but they were cold by the time I received them, likely due to the wait. The biggest downside was the long wait time, which felt unnecessary since I ordered online ahead of time and drove from Miami Gardens for pickup, yet my order still was not ready. Despite that, I will be back to try the different coffees next time I'm in the area.
I stop by The Salty in Wynwood almost every morning before heading to the gym down the street, and the experience has been consistently great—especially since Felix took over as manager. He somehow always has my iced latte with oat milk made perfectly and ready right as I walk in, which honestly makes my mornings so much smoother. Beyond the coffee, the whole vibe and ambiance have noticeably improved since his arrival. The shop feels more welcoming, organized, and upbeat. The team seems dialed in, service is quick, and you can tell there’s strong leadership behind the scenes. If you’re in Wynwood and want great coffee with a solid atmosphere, this spot has definitely stepped up its game.
Delicious donuts in Miami! I tried the pistachio and chocolate cream donuts, and both were great. The shop itself was good, but there was a group of students being quite noisy and running around, which felt a bit unsafe. Anyway, the donuts are so good.
If you’ve got a real sweet tooth, The Salty Donut is a must. These are not standard donuts — soft, brioche-style bases with rich, creative glazes and flavors that actually stand on their own. Go with an assortment so you can experience the range: sweet-savory combos, deep chocolate notes, and balanced, not-too-sweet finishes. Every donut feels intentional and well thought out. Perfect stop while walking the Wynwood Arts District. Creative baking at its best — bold, memorable, and absolutely worth it.
