I spent a few hours here, and could have easily spent at least another hour. The exhibits are so well done it feels very high quality. The layout is so fun take the roof to the first floor on the fun elevator that you see the workings of. I love the indoor outdoor flow. The stairs between floors too are so well done. The planetarium is really nice with comfy seats. If I lived nearby id be a member for sure bringing the whole family.
The Frost Science Museum in Miami is absolutely incredible and one of the most engaging museums I’ve visited. I love museums in general. It’s not just educational in the traditional sense—it truly brings learning to life. What stood out to me the most was how sustainability is front and center throughout the experience. From rooftop exhibits to interactive displays on climate change, greenhouse gas emissions, and renewable energy, the museum does an amazing job of making complex topics accessible and engaging. I especially loved the hands-on elements—like being able to generate energy by pedaling and actually see the impact. It’s powerful to experience these concepts in action rather than just read about them especially for younger audiences. The Da Vinci art, VR tech, the planetarium, the marine life exhibits are also fantastic, and the overall public messaging is clear and impactful. Enjoyed the sustainable fishing interactive game too. This is more than a museum—it’s an experience that inspires awareness and action. The museum also has a restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Miami. And honestly, kudos to all museums that are doing this important work—educating people about conserving energy, water, and managing waste for the planet we all call home.
KUDOs. Easy-to-read documentation. Beautiful exhibits. 1st available exhibit is Da Vinci; don't miss it. Very accessible (mobility scooter). Uncluttered. Many elevators. Easy parking in the basement, $20 flat rate, the CLEANEST garage ever seen. CHALLENGEs. Outside ticket area somewhat confusing; ticket window in addition to self-paying kiosks. Small area, quick congestion.
Good experience overall. Very engaging, yet definitely more geared towards the younger audience. Architecturally fascinating too (from a Masters of Architecture student). The only (and big) complaint is that there should be student pricing! If they want to encourage all kinds of students coming to such a cool museum like this one, then we can’t be expected to pay close to 40$.
A world-class facility. The aquarium setup is unique and thoughtfully designed across multiple levels. We also loved the planetarium show—it was very easy to book and high-quality. The Da Vinci exhibit was another standout; it’s incredibly well done. A perfect blend of education and entertainment.
