Heard about Coni's Seafood while visiting the West LA area and Culver City. Decided to give it try and BOY are we GLAD we Did! They are located in a VERY non-descript building located in a neighborhood in West LA known as the Delray area. Again the building and interior setting or atomphere were just OK - especially if "ambiance" is where you place a lot of emphasis on a food vendor. However they also have a nice private outdoor area in the back of the building where we sat out on picnic tables that is shaded from the sun and is quite quaint. Now with EMPHASIS; their seafood centric FOOD was AMAZING! We ordered the nicely done Citrus marinated White fish and shrimp cebiche and it was so defly prepapred; the small cubed cuccumbers, tomatoes, red onion, etc. all soaking in the marinade which along with their in house chips was DELICIOUS ! (one of the best Cebiche's I've had in a long time) I also ordered the so called Chef Specialty; a Sauteed Semi spiced Shrimp with mushrooms and bacon dish that was served with a small scoop of rice that had corn kernnels mixed in with it. The butter spiced sauce used to sautee all of these ingredients was Devine. We cooled off some of the heat from my semi spiced Chef Special with a lovely and refreshing cuccumber Aqua Fresca. Bottom Line; Coni's Seafood which has several locations is well worth a visit - ENJOY !

The food was SO GOOD. You would never expect this place is a Michelin restaurant from looking at the outside. We loved the aguachiles, ceviche, empanadas and seabass. Didn’t dislike anything we tried. Strongly recommend

After a great workout at the Culver City Stairs, I was seriously craving ceviche — and found Coni’Seafood on Google Maps. Let me tell you, this spot is a gem. I ordered the Aguachiles, Ceviche Marinero, and an agua de pepino — and after that hike, it hit just right. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. Now let’s talk about the salsa they bring out — super spicy, but so good. Our mouths were on fire, but we kept eating it. 😂 It really took everything to the next level. The Aguachiles were packed with flavor — bold, citrusy, spicy — exactly how they should be. The Ceviche Marinero was super refreshing and perfectly balanced. We tried ordering a michelada, but the server let us know they don’t serve liquor. Instead, he suggested a michelada with mineral water... and let me tell YOU — we were skeptical, but it was shockingly good. Like, “how is this this good without beer?” good. This place exceeded our expectations. Nos encantó — great service, amazing food, and the perfect post-hike reward. If you love mariscos and can handle some heat, you need to check out Coni’Seafood.

My boyfriend and I are huge fans of Mexican food and seafood, so Coni’s Seafood was at the top of our must-try list. After hearing so many glowing reviews, we were genuinely excited but left our first visit a little puzzled. We figured we’d just ordered the wrong things, so we went back. And then again. Four visits total, and we’ve finally made peace with the fact that this place just isn’t for us. The biggest issue is the salt. Nearly everything we tried was heavily over-salted, which masked whatever fresh flavors the seafood might have had. The fried fish dishes were consistently dry and disappointing. And for a restaurant with this kind of reputation, the fish tacos should be a slam dunk. They weren’t. What makes it harder to overlook is that LA has no shortage of incredible mariscos spots that deliver fresher, more flavorful food at a fraction of the price. We wanted to love Coni’s. We really did. But at some point you have to trust your taste buds.

Wow! The snook is out of this world delicious! It’s served with carmelized onions — succulent fish, sweet and earthy onions; this dish hits it out of the ball park. The cerviche pescado was fresh and tasty! Service was delightful. Great value. Excellent experience all the way around. A new favorite 🤗
