Satan’s Whiskers was one of my favorite cocktail bars I visited in London. We arrived as walk-ins on a Friday night without realizing reservations are handled by phone, but the staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming from the start. The service throughout the night was excellent. Everyone from the hosts to the bartenders made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The cocktail menu initially looks fairly classic and straightforward, but the execution is what makes the place stand out. Every drink we tried was balanced, well made, and consistently impressive. The atmosphere also deserves mention. Great music, no pretentiousness, and a really comfortable energy overall. Definitely a must-visit if you enjoy cocktail bars.

Definitely my favourite bar in the world. The drinks are classic but of a quality that is hard to imagine, served with tremendous consistency. In my opinion, the team has perfected the art of hospitality. You walk into the bar, there's a great hip-hop playlist playing, and you are immediately given a warm welcome. The team's combined expertise and excellent training, mixed with their down-to-earth attitude, make the whole experience perfect. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time.

This place gets it exactly right. No fuss, no attitude, just seriously good cocktails and a very relaxed, effortless vibe. It’s the kind of bar where you sit down, take a sip, and immediately know you’re in safe hands. The cocktails are excellent - creative, precise, and full of character without being try-hard. The bartender who looked after us was pure magic: calm, confident, and clearly very good at what she does. Watching her work was half the fun. Great music, great energy, no rushing you out the door. Everything feels easy here, and that’s rare. One of those bars you leave already planning your next visit. Easily one of the best in London.

Yesterday evening (05/06) Having a lovely time yesterday with my friend for his birthday. An hour into our booking we were handed our bill with no other information, prompting me to say that we had the table for another hour. The lady serving quietly told me that "my friend had drank too much" and we had to leave. I understand that these things are necessary in bars (I work in one), but this presumption was both incorrect and handled poorly. A discreet conversation to surmise if there was any truth in it would be a good start - a couple of questions would have revealed that he wasn't. Alternatively, and what I think is likely more true of this situation - there could have been a conversation about levels of volume while talking - as it was more likely he was in breach of some kind of behavioural code of conduct than believed to be drunk (which he showed no signs of). To add some context, my friend is an animated Texan guy, very people-centric, and we were also talking socially to the table beside us (two other Americans by chance). He also was in no way drunk, far from it. Again, I understand that the need to abide by licensing rules and so on. But this was handled poorly and felt way off the mark. Needless to say, my friend didn't enjoy his birthday evening much after that, because he became concerned of how he was coming across to people after being mis-labelled as drunk. I adore the cocktails and atmosphere at Satan's Whiskers, but I would question returning after this experience. It's a shame.

Love this bar! The drinks were amazing, service was 10/10 outstanding. Our server tried to accommodate us even without a reservation and provided stellar recommendations even on off-menu drinks! We loved the house special Broken Van!
