What can you say - just amazing. Italian food restaurant located at Borough Market which is an amazing place to eat & drink with friends and enjoy great Italian pasta. We tried Tagliarini with tomato Sauce, Burrata with Le Ferre Olive oil, Bruschetta with winter tomatoes and Pappardelle with beef. All of them were just amazing. You feel the quality of the Olive oil and we also loved the bread which they do on their own. The pastas were really great and we enjoyed each bit. The Tagliarini is great to enjoy with parmesan. The staff is perfect with a big smile, great recommendations and are always here to help you. The atmospere is nice to enjoy and not loud. Recommended.
Padella – London (near Borough Market) A pasta queue worth joining Marinated peppers with green pea – sweet, melts in the mouth. Burrata with salt, pepper, olive oil – fresh milky flavour. Sourdough with olive oil – not hot enough, but the middle is soft. However the bread is not provided freely. Pappardelle beef ragu – fresh pasta, sauce quite salty but tasty; brisket very soft and juicy. The salt builds as you eat. Tiramisu – a solid finish.traditional version Booking recommended otherwise always a long queue Recommended: marinated red peppers
Been wanting to check out Padella for a while. The wait was surprisingly quick only about 10/15 mins although it was probably because we got there not long after it opened. The dishes also came out quicker than expected and they were of a good portion. The fettuccine with cobble lane cured nduja was packed with creamy cheesy flavour that made each bite deliciously moorish. The tagliarini with dried chili garlic and pangrattato was equally tasty with an added chilli zing. Everything tasted authentically fresh and home made, including the bruschetta with winter tomatoes and wild oregano. A must go to if you’re in the borough and love pasta.
Amazing meal at Padella. The pici cacio e pepe was perfectly creamy and full of flavour, and the beef shin ragù was rich and tender. Simple, high-quality pasta done right—definitely worth the wait.
Padella is an absolute must if you love pasta. We had the Pappardelle with 8 hours Hereford beef shin ragu, Pici cacio & pepe, and spinach tagliarini, every single dish was incredible. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Easily some of the best pasta I’ve ever had in London. Crazy good! Don’t miss it!
