Great relaxed vibe with a fantastic 80s soundtrack. The staff are attentive and friendly, but the food is slightly overrated. The Himmel & Ääd was a personal low light, though the drinks and sweet courses of the 3-course brunch menu were the clear highlights. Great for the atmosphere and "dessert", but the savory mains don't quite hit the mark.
We had a very good brunch at Neobiota. The dishes were delicious and well prepared, with great flavors and quality ingredients. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed brunch. The service staff were extremely polite, attentive, and always available. Highly recommended!
Dinner at NeoBiota is a masterclass in cuisine, including plant-based. Instead of using processed substitutes, they elevate regional vegetables into complex masterpieces using clever fermentation. Every dish bursts with bold flavor, precise acidity, and warming spiciness, accompanied by an incredibly generous array of creative amuses-bouches. You get Michelin-starred artistry entirely free of stuffy pretense. The vibe is casual and the staff are wonderful. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Germany!
The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive. I love how modern and innovative the courses were. We had one vegan menu and the rest had the omnivore version. Several dishes were vegan across both menus. Some dishes were a bit too spicy for my liking, but I generally don't cope with spice well. But I was able to eat them all. Bring lots of time. The 6 course menu entertained us for 3.5 hours. Interesting and vast wine list. Very knowledgeable sommelier. They also have interesting non-alcoholic options and even a non-alcoholic drinks pairing.
We ate here in May 2023 and again now. The food is really nice and is a relaxed atmosphere, with a nice central location. This year the wine selection (with the wine pairing) was really nice. We felt that the courses really worked well with each other and the pairing. Deserts were also very nice, they were quick to adapt with allergies that weren’t mentioned (our fault for not specifying, we had booked close to the date and forgot to mention.) I really like the course with the red pepper and other friends really liked the course with cologne sourced mushroom with ribwot plantain and chilli. Course with onion was really nice. Wish they accepted cash payment, would eat here more often if so. The no dress code / casual dress code is a very nice touch and makes the experience feel comfortable and modern. Thanks again for the lovely evening.
